Popeye and Bluto head rival fire crews that sit side by side. When Olive’s enormous house goes up in flames, the two firefighters spend more time squabbling than extinguishing the blaze. Bluto climbs onto the roof to save Olive but becomes trapped by the fire. Popeye chomps his spinach, rushes in, and rescues them, though the house is already lost.
