In the summer of 1913, just before the world erupts into the First World War, a circle of aristocrats convenes at Sir Randolph Nettleby’s country estate for a weekend shooting party. While their genteel manners mask a crumbling class and rampant hypocrisy, only the weary Sir Randolph recognizes the inevitable decline of the Edwardian era.
