Rena Varlamou (Rena Vlahopoulou), a determined captain, manages the election campaign of her fiancé Pericles Arapis (Stavros Xenides), a tavern owner who has founded a party and seeks office. When Pericles loses, the sudden death of Iakovos Menexes’s uncle creates a vacant seat. Menexes had placed Rena as his runner‑up, making her the island’s first female MP, where she struggles to fulfill her duties.
