Narumi forms the Asunaro Group with four classmates and dates Tamotsu, whom she noticed at the entrance exam. Their backgrounds cause a breakup, and a member’s tragic death ends the group. Four years later friends reunite for the anniversary; Tamotsu proposes. The film follows their transition to adulthood, probing line between friendship and love.
