In ancient times a Persian merchant is lost in a windstorm when a nine‑coloured spiritual deer appears and guides him. Later the deer rescues a drowning man who vows secrecy. The merchant reaches a palace where the king demands the deer’s hide. The merchant leads an army to deer’s refuge, falls into the river and drowns as arrows turn to dust.
