Set in the underbelly of Mexico City, the film follows street performers, factory workers, a drunk, an elderly man proud of his city, a pickpocket and other residents as they live, work and intersect in a shantytown that borders the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, capturing the gritty daily rhythm and diverse voices of the neighborhood.
