Set against the backdrop of Appalachia, this film explores the conflict between a coal corporation and a determined community as they fight for the future of the last remaining mountain range. The corporation seeks to exploit the valuable energy resources within the peak, while the residents struggle to protect their traditional way of life and livelihoods. The story raises important questions about progress, the preservation of heritage, and the consequences of pursuing power at any cost.
