High above San Francisco Bay, a priest leaps from the Golden Gate Bridge, and his nurse, Sister Benecia, insists it was murder, not suicide. She convinces police to assign the cynical detective Paul Silver. Dubbed the “Mad Nun” and the “Mad Cop,” the unlikely duo join forces, turning a baffling case into an investigation that reveals far more.
