Ho, a Hong Kong police officer, follows his wife to the United States and joins the New York police in Manhattan. She meets Chinese wheeler‑dealer Chan, who shows her how to double money quickly, turning her into a businesswoman while Ho feels powerless. Ho is assigned undercover to investigate Chan, leading to love, conflict and a showdown beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, as the city’s skyline watches.
