Eleven-year-old Jonas yearns for a summer adventure in the Slovakian countryside with his beloved grandfather, but his mother insists on a trip to the seaside. Defying his mother, Jonas runs away and takes the train to his grandfather’s home, only to find him withdrawn and unhappy. Fortunately, Jonas befriends his spirited neighbor, Alex, and together they hatch a plan to build a raft, leading to unexpected trouble in the village. When his grandfather is wrongly accused, Jonas must find a way to resolve the chaos and repair his friendship with Alex.
