A series of unsettling deaths plague the city, with victims found with ruptured eyeballs and dying of heart attacks while seemingly possessed. University student Mizuki witnesses the death of a friend, prompting her to team up with Haruo, whose younger brother has also died under similar circumstances. Their investigation leads them to Eiko, who appears to hold vital clues to the mystery. As they delve deeper, Eiko suffers the same gruesome fate, uttering the name "Shirai-san" before her death, adding another layer of complexity to the unfolding horror.
