David Ackermann, a brilliant computer specialist and Paris police officer, teaches a rookie academy class on cyber‑crime. By chance he obtains sensitive data that exposes high‑level politicians and police officials involved in organized crime. From that point he is pursued relentlessly, his ex‑wife is abducted as leverage, and he must fight back with the help of his new girlfriend.
