The film opens one evening as Sophie, a twenty‑year‑old who discovers she is pregnant, roams the city at night grappling with whether to keep the child, consider abortion, and confront her feelings for a friend while wondering who the father is. Along the way she meets strangers who shape her reflections, and by sunrise she reaches a decision—yet the narrative does not end there.
