Sture, a wealthy drunk, flies to Mallorca to binge until he dies. He meets Sylvia, moves into her middle‑class neighborhood with her 18‑year‑old daughter Eva. Eva is murdered on the night between Midsummer Eve and Midsummer Day, and police focus on Sture, who was intoxicated and cannot recall his actions.
