Sally, abandoned as a baby and named after the telephone exchange, grows up in an orphanage discovering a love for dance. As a waitress she falls for Blair (Alexander Gray), though he’s engaged to society girl Marcia. Hired to impersonate Russian star Noskerova, the ruse is exposed. Undeterred, she heads to Broadway, still thinking of Blair.
