In a lavish medieval setting, King Richard leaves for the Crusades, appointing Prince John as regent. John swiftly becomes a ruthless tyrant. The Earl of Huntingdon, warned by his love Marian, returns to oppose John but is declared an outlaw and believes Marian dead. Robin Hood, a bold outlaw, launches swash‑buckling raids to restore justice.
