Rich playboy Drogo Gaines faces a forced marriage to a gold‑digging woman and pretends to be insane to avoid it. He awakens in a chaotic asylum populated by humorous lunatics, where he teams up with the eccentric Colonel Carraway. Together they break out, hitch a ride with a striking blonde who turns out to be Penguin Moore, the carnival’s owner.
