Irazca, a modest elderly woman, lives with her son Kara Bayram, daughter‑in‑law Hatice and three grandchildren while defying the village hierarchy. When the headman secretly sells a plot of common land to Haceli, a house is planned opposite Irazca’s home. They fight the headman's schemes and Haceli's manipulation to keep their home.
