Vincent, a gentle and introspective young man devoted to reading and painting, contrasts sharply with his retired knight father. The ambitious former knight feels compelled to guide and advise his son, even accompanying him on a journey into the world. Their travels lead them to confront a sorcerer, inadvertently endangering a fairy kingdom, and requiring them to correct their mistake. They also find themselves tasked with rescuing a beautiful princess. Through these experiences, the knight learns that not all problems can be solved with force, and Vincent understands the necessity of fighting against evil. Ultimately, the princess's affection and half a kingdom serve as a fitting reward.
