The three cleverest crooks—Silent Madden, his daughter Molly, and their third partner—have left San Francisco’s criminal underworld after absorbing the wise teachings of Chang Low, a Confucian master. Now the vengeful Black Mike Sylva is determined to frame Madden as revenge for a past mistake, threatening to drag the reformed thieves back into danger.
