Patrick Perrault, a photo‑journalist covering the Beirut war in the late 1980s, finds himself caught in the fighting when gunmen forcefully bundle him into a car. Blindfolded, he is driven to an undisclosed site where he learns he is being held hostage by Lebanese guerrillas, leaving his fate uncertain.
