Joseph discovers that his former wife of thirty years, Nora, has taken her own life. A rabbi tells him that because of the holiday celebrations, her burial cannot happen immediately and must be delayed at least five days. Nora had devised a cunning scheme to force Joseph to handle her funeral, but she overlooked a small detail—a mysterious photograph hidden under her bed that will remind him that the deepest love stories can be found in the most modest places.
