Ruth Etting, the star attraction of the Albertson Travel Agency radio program, discovers that her recordings are being aired simultaneously on a competing show. To resolve the conflict, her producers create a contest that challenges listeners to identify specific words from a song she performs, with the prize granting the winner the chance to have Etting herself appear at a banquet.
