Michel, a psychoanalyst, nods off while his patient Olga—a kleptomaniac and sexual deviant—talks about enjoying her husband’s beatings. He awakens to find her strangled dead. He must now manage the corpse, deal with Olga’s wealthy husband who suspects embezzlement, and confront the lingering madness of his other patients, and guilt that gnaws at him.
