More than a year after the original outbreak, survivors Argenta, Nemesis and a handful of others scavenge the ruins of civilization while fending off the undead. Their search for safety leads them to a fortified compound that appears to be humanity’s last refuge, ruled by former motivational speaker Bill Wilhelm and his heavily armed cult. When Argenta is subjected to intense indoctrination and her companions are imprisoned, she suspects that Wilhelm’s plan uses both the living and the dead for a darker purpose.
