Producer Bob Temple, who has brought an American TV show to London, is smitten with his star Diana, but she dismisses him as a lover. To prove himself he befriends the neglected Lady Arlington. At her estate, Lady Arlington and a friend use Bob to spark jealousy in their husbands, a scheme that backfires and leaves him in danger from men eventually.
