Pluto is tasked with delivering a mail pouch to a distant outpost. After a pilot is forced to turn back by a severe storm, he drops the mail at a remote station where a dogsled is supposed to take it. The pouch lands on Pluto, who sets off on his own route. Along the way a mischievous rabbit constantly hinders him, but ultimately the rabbit assists Pluto in completing the delivery.
