Torsten, a shy man in his late twenties, lives with his mother in a dreary Berlin apartment complex. As his alter ego, "Lux - Warrior of Light," he dedicates himself to improving the lives of others, distributing food to the homeless and offering assistance throughout the city. A film crew follows Torsten to document his efforts as a self-proclaimed real-life superhero. The director, Jan, seeks funding for the project, while the producer, Brandt, wants to see something truly remarkable to secure a deal.
