This Dogville short takes place at an outpost of the Dogville Foreign Legion. Soldiers watch a newsreel in which opera singer Galli Cur, a spoof of Amelita Galli‑Curci, sings an aria. Afterwards, in a local bar, each tells why he joined, all blaming women’s betrayals. They claim they’re fed up with women, until an unexpected visitor arrives.
