Alain Revent is a charming, refined man who takes a twisted pleasure in humiliating his wives. The first, driven to despair, throws herself from a window. He hires his perverse acquaintance Dino, the “handsome brute,” to psychologically torment his second wife, Nathalie. Officer Leroy suspects the cruel scheme and races to rescue her from Alain’s grip.
