When a looming war endangers a beehive, the chance for peace arises from the most unlikely sources. One bee, a devoted honey‑maker, feels compelled to take up arms, while another, a seasoned soldier, dreams of simply producing honey. The story asks whether these insects can choose their own desires over the strict expectations of their colony.
