Through a series of intimate voice‑overs, the film explores love and desire carried on sound waves. It follows a woman dying of leukemia who lives in seclusion at her affluent father's villa, and a man who works night shifts at a telephone company. United only by their nightly conversations, they have never met face‑to‑face, yet their bond deepens through the unseen resonance of their voices.
