While playing baseball near the home of the wealthy hypochondriac Mr. Morton, the gang accidentally shatters one of his windows. The mishap happens just as Morton's wife devises a plan to divert her husband's constant imagined ailments by adopting some children, hoping the new responsibilities will occupy his mind.
