A young writer, Grover, dreams of moving to New York with his girlfriend, Jane. However, when Jane decides to study in Prague, Grover finds himself struggling with writer's block and a sense of displacement. Seeking solace, he turns to his friends, but they offer little practical advice—one is consumed by crossword puzzles, while another is afraid to travel. The group ends up at Chet’s bar, hoping for guidance, but Chet is also grappling with his own personal challenges.
