The Scarecrow swaps a handful of beans for Jasper’s harmonica. Jasper plants them, climbs the beanstalk, and discovers a girl trapped in a golden cage, playing a golden harp. He rescues her, brings her down, and spends his days dancing to the harp’s music. The film was preserved by the Academy Film Archive with UCLA in 2009.
