Detective Paul Ford uncovers a disturbing truth: his partner, Frank, is abusing his wife, Eve. Determined to protect her, Paul intervenes, but Frank retaliates by framing him for a murder. Now a fugitive from the police, and Eve fleeing her abusive husband, the two embark on a desperate escape, which unexpectedly blossoms into a passionate love affair.
