Manos (Christos Loulis) is unlucky in love, so he leaves his overbearing girlfriend in Athens and returns to his rural hometown to stay with his only relatives. He bonds with his eccentric uncle (Paul Chaikalis), who obsessively searches for honey‑glazed donuts, and his caring aunt (Bright Baxevani). He also meets Xenia (Fay Xila), a childhood friend now working at the local funeral home.
