Satoru, an elementary student confined to a wheelchair, withdraws from life after his mother’s death. To reconnect him with the world, his father builds a remote‑controlled robot that attends school in Satoru’s place, letting him meet classmates, take part in lessons, and experience everyday activities despite his physical limitations.
