Following the loss of their parents 13 years prior, high school student Aoi Aioi lives with her older sister, Akane, who has been raising her ever since. Feeling a desire to lessen her sister’s responsibility and to chase her own musical dreams, Aoi plans to move to Tokyo after graduation. Her aspirations are inspired by Akane's former boyfriend, Shinnosuke "Shinno" Kanamuro, a guitarist who left the area to pursue a professional career after their parents' passing and seemingly disappeared.
