Set on the French Riviera, a nervous female cat is constantly startled by dogs barking. To deter them, she dyes a white stripe down her back, mimicking a skunk. The plan backfires when the romantic skunk Pepé Le Pew mistakes her for a female of his own species and begins to chase her relentlessly.
