Hats Off

Stan and Ollie, a pair of hapless salesmen, try to hawk a washing machine but are constantly foiled by a series of mishaps. While lugging the appliance up a long flight of stairs, a young woman asks them to post a letter, diverting their effort. Their rivalry escalates into a chaotic hat‑snatching fight that draws in dozens of bystanders. A police van rounds up the crowd, leaving only the two men to search the street for their own lost hats among the many scattered headpieces.
