Russell’s life revolves around two obsessions—watching TV and letting out farts—while he pines for Heather, who can’t stand flatulence. She warns him that if farting ever makes it onto television, he’ll never leave the house. One night, exhausted, he falls asleep in front of the TV and wakes to a world where every sitcom, commercial, news broadcast and drama is filled with relentless fart jokes, trapping him in a bizarre, gas‑filled reality.
