The ITV series, broadcast 11–13 March 2007, adapts Andrew Taylor’s Roth Trilogy. It follows Rosie Byfield, a clergyman’s daughter who becomes a psychopathic killer. Unfolding over three nights, the drama moves backward in time, each segment peeling back another layer of Rosie’s past to reveal how her upbringing and choices lead to her deadly end.
