Set a century ahead, several years before Lisa and Lorna enlist with the eX‑D organization, society relies on fully autonomous, electrically powered AI cars that ferry passengers wherever they wish. When one of these vehicles inexplicably goes rogue, Nina and Rei—lead drivers for eX‑D—must uncover the sinister plot and trap behind its malfunction.
