Five very different high school girls are tasked with leading an anti-bullying assembly, which unexpectedly leads them to form a girl group called Drama Drama. Encouraged by a classmate, they decide to pursue music seriously, writing songs, performing at the homecoming dance, and preparing for a larger concert. As they navigate their budding music careers, the girls must also deal with typical teenage challenges, including crushes, competitive friendships, academic pressure, and planning for what comes after graduation.
