A young woman, haunted by past traumas, is questioned by the police after a man’s death, which she attributes to a demon. Detective Beckett recognizes her as the girl to whom he made a promise seven years prior – to find the monster responsible for the rape and murder of her 12-year-old sister. He must confront his past failures while navigating a disturbing case that blurs the lines between reality and delusion.
