After leaving the priesthood, a haunted former priest is pulled into a bitter feud on a Mexican ranch, where a resentful father, his volatile son, and a dissatisfied daughter clash. Grappling with guilt and loss of faith, he starts a tentative romance with the local brothel keeper, only to face the rancher and his son seeking revenge for his interference, while his own demons persist.
