Ylva, a choir leader, boards a bus to Italy with her eclectic group. Some members hope to meet the local mayor, others chase a free vacation, while a few expect to perform. Each sees the trip as an escape: Ylva flees after discovering her husband’s affair, and the young singers Erik and Ruben promise adventure. The journey also reveals a tangled web of hidden desires—a restless couple, a long‑separated pair, a divorced woman yearning for love, and a closeted lesbian.
