After a doctors’ strike ends his rehab early, Ivan returns home to his wife Sonja and son Robi; next morning she sends him to buy bread and milk. On the way back he meets his classmate Armando, who admits he spent a night with Sonja before she married Ivan, prompting Ivan to drink. The film is a portrait of loneliness, broken bonds, and fading love.
