LaBruce’s debut short Super‑8 experiment weaves original, found and TV footage into a loose narrative. A red‑haired woman (G.B. Jones) watches the street through binoculars from a windowsill, while Mary Tyler Moore flees an aggressor into a park. The film documents LaBruce’s life in a squat at Queen and Parliament, with punk band Fifth Column.
